  • Save the date: Sunday May 2nd Archbishop Kay is coming to conduct a Confirmation Service; this will be a combined service at 9:30am.
  • A voluntary organisation called ‘Dress for Success’ accepts donations of women’s clothes,shoes, belts, even undies, to help women who are disadvantaged for any reason dress well for job interviews. If you have any smart clothes you no longer wear- of any size- that would be suitable ‘business attire’, we will collect them and get them to the right place.
  • As you know we support CARAD- the Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees Inc., based in Perth, by collecting non-perishable food for their food bank.  This is their latest newsletter. The section about Pantry Bags may be something you would like to consider.
  • A SafeTALK presentation is to be held at St Nic’s  – date tbc. Registrations are essential and there is a cost of $50: if you would like to attend and the cost is an issue for you please speak to Revd Lorna. SafeTALK is a workshop providing half a day of training in suicide alertness skills; participants will learn steps to create a life-saving connection and to keep the person safe until other resources take over.

  • Would you like to accompany Revd. Lorna for monthly Eucharist at Carine Parkside Aged Care (Opal Care)? You will need a doctor’s certificate or letter stating that you have received flu immunisation.
